Firefighters from Lowestoft responded to a spate of call-outs in quick succession.

Crews from Lowestoft South fire station were alerted after three different automatic fire alarms sounded at premises across Lowestoft – including one call to Harry Chamberlain Court on Hollingsworth Road – between 5.09pm and 5.59pm yesterday (Monday).

A crew from Lowestoft South fire station spent 12 minutes quickly tackling a vehicle blaze on Marine Parade, opposite Royal Green, at 8.45pm last night, with the scene cleared by 8.57pm.

A minor blaze was also tackled on Kirkley Cliff Road at 2.10am this morning (Tuesday) by a crew from Lowestoft South fire station with the scene cleared by 2.28am.
