THIEVES have struck in another spate of house burglaries across Lowestoft in recent days. Police investigations were continuing this week and detectives are again urging residents not to leave keys in their doors, to put their lights on timers and to report any suspicious behaviour to officers immediately using 999.

THIEVES have struck in another spate of house burglaries across Lowestoft in recent days.

Police investigations were continuing this week and detectives are again urging residents not to leave keys in their doors, to put their lights on timers and to report any suspicious behaviour to officers immediately using 999.

Among the most recent incidents are:

� A break-in at a house in Rowan Way between 10.30am on Monday (February 16) and 8am on Wednesday (18) saw a search made of the premises but at this stage it is not known if anything was stolen.

� An unknown amount of cash was taken after burglars broke into a house in Meadowsweet Close, Carlton Colville between 5pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday (February 17).

� And burglars broke into a home in Dell Road between 2pm and 9.30pm on Tuesday (February 17) where jewellery and cash were stolen. Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have been offered any jewellery items since Tuesday afternoon.
