Firefighters were kept busy as they dealt with a range of incidents in quick succession.

Crews from Lowestoft South fire station were called out to assist the East of England Ambulance Service on the High Street in Lowestoft on Friday morning.

They then attended the Port of Lowestoft for a "familiarisation visit" to a ship in the port, before they were alerted to reports of a building fire in Kessingland.

Two crews from Lowestoft South fire station attended the blaze at property on Turrell Drive, Kessingland at 3.32pm, with the scene cleared by 4.50pm.

Lowestoft South Fire Station Tweeted on Friday, May 10: "Busy day for our White watch #firefighters

"Assisting the Ambulance this morning followed by a familiarisation visit to a ship in the Port of #Lowestoft this afternoon, then to a house fire in #Kessingland."
