A SERVICE to celebrate the life of a respected former headmistress and round-the-world cyclist will be held in Southwold next month.
Anne Mustoe, former headmistress of St Felix School in Southwold, died in November last year at the age of 76 after falling while on a cycling trip in Syria.
The school will be hosting a service of thanksgiving in her memory on Sunday, March 7, at St Edmund's Church in Southwold.
Janet Buchanan-Smith, former chairman of the Old Felicians' Club, will pay tribute and the service will be conducted by former school chaplain, Canon Harry Edwards.
Any former students, relatives, friends and colleagues who would like to attend the service, which will be followed by tea at the school, should contact Fran D'Alcorn on 01502 722175 or email fdalcorn@stfelix.suffolk.sch.uk.
