The Sporting Memories Group at Lowestoft Library will be welcoming a special guest next week.
Sporting memories groups are held in conjunction with the Sporting Memories Network across a number of Suffolk libraries as they help those feeling lonely, isolated or affected by dementia to meet up and reminisce over sporting events from the past.
Next Thursday (September 27 ) Lowestoft Library's group will be welcoming speedway superfan Pete Rout from 10.30am to 12.15pm.
Over the past few years Mr Rout has been lovingly crafting reproduction race jackets for the National Speedway Museum and will be bringing some of his extensive collection of speedway memorabilia.
The even is free to attend and anyone interested can come along to find out more.
Alternatively, visit www.suffolklibraries.co.uk/events-activities/sporting-memories/ for further information.
