The Lowestoft Remember Me club and its members will be joining staff and residents from Oulton Park Care Centre for a sponsored walk this weekend.

The sponsored walk, from Claremont Pier in Lowestoft to Oulton Park care centre in Union Lane, Oulton takes place this Sunday, May 27.

It is being held in conjunction with dementia awareness week as everyone taking part will meet at the Pier at 10.30am ahead of the walk starting at 11am.

The walkers will be carrying buckets along the route as all money donated will go to the Alzheimer’s Society.

With refreshments being served at Oulton Park care centre at the end of the walk, it is being organised by Pauline, Mia and the activities team at Oulton park care centre, who would also like to thank all the local restaurants’ and public houses that have kindly agreed to have a donation box on their premises.
