Services on Sunday are holy communion at 8am, followed by a parish breakfast, at which members of the congregation will be joined by the Venerable Martin Gray, Archdeacon of Lynn, and his wife Pauline, prior to their attendance at sung eucharist at 10am. Evensong will be at 6.30 pm. As a former incumbent of St Margaret's, Martin Gray is one of the 56 vicars and rectors, whose service spanning 700 years since the first recorded vicar, Rev John Ayshle, will be celebrated at the coming Patronal Festival Weekend from July 18 to 20. The central feature will be the three-day flower and costume display in the church. The mediaeval style fair, complete with hog roast, in the church grounds on July 18, has attracted a number of craft stalls which will blend with the traditional elements of a summer fair. In the evening there will be a concert of Tudor and Renaissance music, which will be given by The Minstrels. Proceeds from the weekend will go to the church lighting project.
