A special service took place on Sunday to present the achievements of the fun week and to celebrate the week's events for the children. The church's series of open days on Saturday afternoons during August has now concluded. There will be a coffee morning in aid of the Church Missionary Society at the Rectory, from 10am to 12 noon on Thursday, September 10. On Saturday, September 12, the annual sponsored walk and cycle ride will be taking place throughout Suffolk and Norfolk. Support, whether by taking part or by providing sponsorship, will contribute to the funds needed to sustain both the church and the work of the Historic Churches Trusts for Norfolk and Suffolk. This will be followed by a harvest supper and quiz evening which will be held in St Margaret's Church Centre on Saturday, September 19, in aid of church funds. St Margaret's will celebrate the harvest on Sunday, September 27. Services on Sunday will commence with holy communion at 8am, followed by sung eucharist at 10am. There will be a service of baptism at 11.30am and the day will conclude with evensong and holy communion at 6.30 pm. The first Sunday family worship and activities will take place in the church centre from 9.45am to 11.15am, on the theme of Hands and Jesus, the Healer. The Traidcraft stall will also be open in the church centre after the morning service.
