A series of August Open Days commences this Saturday, when the church will be open from 2 to 4pm. as part of the Norwich Diocesan Open Churches Week, to enable the public to visit and view one of the most magnificent buildings in Lowestoft.
A series of August Open Days commences this Saturday, when the church will be open from 2 to 4pm. as part of the Norwich Diocesan Open Churches Week, to enable the public to visit and view one of the most magnificent buildings in Lowestoft. The Diocesan Open Churches Week will run from Sunday to Friday, when the church will be open from 2 to 4pm on Sunday and from 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday. Thereafter, the church will also be open on Saturdays in August 2 to 4pm. There is free parking at the adjoining Church Centre and light refreshments will be served during each of these Saturday afternoon sessions. Services on Sunday will commence with holy communion at 8am and there will be a sung eucharist at 10am. There are baptisms at 11.30am and evensong will begin at 6.30pm.
