On June 15, St Mark's Wives Group held their annual meeting and summer social which was well attended. The leader and treasurer gave their reports, but unfortunately due to illness the secretary was unable to attend.
On June 15, St Mark's Wives Group held their annual meeting and summer social which was well attended. The leader and treasurer gave their reports, but unfortunately due to illness the secretary was unable to attend. The deputy leader, June Chipperfield, resigned from the committee and was thanked for all her hard work. Her place as deputy was taken jointly by Pam Browne and Pat Prentice. Ruth Pawsey was also elected to the committee. The meeting was followed by humorous poetry readings by Pam Browne and a cheese and wine supper prepared by the committee. The summer outing is on July 6 which will be a walk along the seafront followed by a meal at the Hatfield Hotel.
