There are still tickets left for this year's Slaughter in Southwold crime writers' festival

The festival takes place tomorrow and Sunday at Reydon Village Hall and will feature well-known local and national crime authors including Nicci French, Simon Brett, Rory Clements, Kate Rhodes and Sarah Hilary.

Library manager Charlotte Clark said: “We’re very excited about this year’s Slaughter festival and are looking forward to welcoming such a fantastic range of crime authors to Southwold this weekend.

“It’s not too late to get a ticket for any of the author talks or get a pass for the Saturday, Sunday or the whole weekend.

“You can order tickets online at the Suffolk Libraries website, via Southwold Library or just come along on the day.”

The event is organised by Southwold Library with support from the Friends of the library, Southwold Arts Festival and the Crime Writers’ Association.

Each author event is £5 with day passes available for £15 or £30 to cover the whole weekend.

Lunch is available on both days with a chance to chat to the authors and there is also a fun crime quiz at 7pm tomorrow (Saturday) evening and a raffle offering a chance to win a luxury crime-themed hamper.

Tickets can be booked at Southwold Library, either in person, by calling 01502 722519 or online at www.suffolklibraries.co.uk/slaughter
