Severe congestion on the roads, numerous train cancellations, widespread power outage and school closures are among the problems plaguing Norfolk and Suffolk this morning after strong winds hit the region.
Rush hour journeys have been hampered by trees causing partial or complete blockage to roads, leaving drivers stuck in heavy traffic and forced to find alternative routes.
Suffolk Police tweeted to say that their control room had received 389 calls to 999 and 291 calls to 101 between 5am and 10am this morning.
They urged members of the public to only call police in an emergency and to contact Suffolk Highways regarding fallen trees and flooding by calling 0345 606 6067 or by emailing customer.service@suffolk.gov.uk.

Meanwhile, there have been several problems on the trains, with Greater Anglia forced to cancel multiple services.
A tree on the line in Brundall meant there were no trains running for much of the morning between Lowestoft and Norwich, whilst a similar issue meant there were cancellations between Lowestoft and Ipswich.
The problems have now been cleared and trains are now due to run as scheduled.
Greater Anglia is recommending that passengers check their website for a full list of train cancellations and alterations before travelling.
The reported problems on the region's roads include:
• Large tree blocking B1074 in Flixton between Somerleyton and Oulton Broad
• Trampoline blowing around on Queen Elizabeth Drive/Petit Couronne Way in Beccles
• Tree down in Haddiscoe
• Tree partially across the road near White Lion Pub in Toft Monks
• Tree debris blocking pathway in Black Boy Meadow in Beccles
• Several trees down on roads between Reydon and Southwold
• Power outage in Ringsfield
• Tree down blocking A12 at Wrentham
• Tree partially blocking road between Flixton and Homersfield
• A145 London Road between Beccles and Southwold - tree down blocking road just past Brampton
• 146 buses unable to reach Southwold due to trees blocking A12
Earlier this morning, the Met Office said: 'Very strong winds across England and Wales this morning. Be aware of longer journey times for the rush hour, especially in eastern parts where gusts over 70 mph are still possible.'
