Two construction students are celebrating a double win at a national competition.
Alex Bussey and Daniel Jones are both Level 2 NVQ students at Lowestoft College, and travelled to London for the Johnstone's Young Painter of the Year competition last month.
Facing seven other students, they had to paint a complex design by brush to be judged by Johnstone's Paints.
Painting and decorating lecturer Kevyn Stow said: 'The standard of work was extremely high. All learners represented their individual colleges extremely well and in a manner fitting of a professional decorator.'
And after all their hard work, Daniel was named runner up while Alex was crowned the winner, and both students received decorating tools and a cheque.
