Suffolk awakes to milder weather

SUFFOLK awoke to a milder day today than some parts of the country.Snow is predicted for the far north and the scheduled horse racing meeting at Folkestone in Kent was abandoned early this morning due to the snow, which fell at the weekend.
SUFFOLK awoke to a milder day today than some parts of the country.
Snow is predicted for the far north and the scheduled horse racing meeting at Folkestone in Kent was abandoned early this morning due to the snow, which fell at the weekend.
However, forecasters predicted Suffolk will be damp and cloudy throughout the day with temperatures reaching 4C (39F).
