A 21-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with criminal damage following an incident involving singer Jay Kay's �1million Ferrari in Aldeburgh in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A 21-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with criminal damage following an incident involving singer Jay Kay's �1million Ferrari in Aldeburgh in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Aaron Billington, of Aldeburgh, is being held in custody at Lowestoft police station and is due to appear before magistrates in Lowestoft today (Wednesday).
The front passenger side window of the Ferrari Enzo, belonging to Jamiroquai frontman, was smashed in the incident which happened between midnight and 2.20am on Tuesday.
The singer had spent the night at the seafront Brudenell Hotel and was seen drinking in the bar on Monday evening.

Jay Kay, 39, who is famed for his love of fast cars, described the incident as 'disappointing.'
'It's disappointing - that's all I'll say,' he said. 'It says something about the British psyche.'

He also joked: 'It's probably the first incident in Aldeburgh for about 60 years.'
The singer, who said he once owned a house in nearby Southwold added he had decided to visit Aldeburgh for a 'quiet' break.
