Tools stolen from van parked in street overnight

Tools have been stolen from a van parked in a Lowestoft street overnight.

Suffolk Police have appealed for witnesses following the theft of the tools from a van parked in Park Road on Tuesday, August 18.

At around 10am, the owner of the van heard a noise and went outside to find the side door to his silver Vauxhall Combo van was open and his Makita power tools had been stolen.

A witness said they saw two or three men wearing hooded tops, with the hoods up, walking towards St Margaret’s Road.

Officers have urged anyone who witnessed the theft, or who knows the location of the stolen tools, to contact officers on 101, quoting crime reference 37/47969/20.

Officers have also appealed for anyone who may have captured any relevant dashcam footage or CCTV in the area at the time to get in touch.
