Over 50 people walked from Wangford for the annual blessing of Reydon Wood service in early May. The weather stayed fine as Rev David Eaton, the local vicar, officiated and his wife said a prayer. The paths were much drier than usual and the visitors were able to enjoy the masses of bluebells. The 40-acre Reydon Wood has been owned and managed by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust for about 25 years and is a popular venue for nature lovers from the locality and beyond. The event was organised by Tony Sutton, the voluntary warden, and his wife, Rosemary, who provided refreshments at Wangford Community Centre afterwards.
