Sunrise Talent contest entries sought
ENTRIES are beginning to arrive at The Journal's office for this year's annual Sunrise Talent contest.It is taking part at the Hotel Victoria, in Lowestoft, and there's also a prize for someone who comes up with the best nomination for a charity to benefit from funds raised from the contest.

It is taking part at the Hotel Victoria, in Lowestoft, and there's also a prize for someone who comes up with the best nomination for a charity to benefit from funds raised from the contest.
The hotel, in Kirkley Cliff, is offering a family dinner for six to the winner whose idea is chosen by the organisers of the event.
The contest has attracted a host of talent over the years. Last year it was won by Katy Jones, with the inaugural winner magician Luke Cook, going on to star in a summer season at Cromer Pier, this year.

Entry costs �10 and the first heats are due to take place at the hotel on the following Sundays: November 15 and 29, December 13 and January 10. Closing date for entries are Friday, October 30.
The winner will walk off with a top cash prize and the runners up will also be rewarded.

Those acts keen to take part should fill in the form on this page and send it along with the entry fee and a photograph to Sunrise Talent Contest, The Journal, 147 London Road North, Lowestoft, NR32 1NB. Cheques should be made out to Ann Youngman.
Meanwhile, those wanting to win the meal prize should send their details to the same address marked: Sunrise Talent Charity, and include their name, address, contact telephone number, email address, and no more than 100 words giving details of their charity nomination which must be targeted or linked to youth organisations or individuals.
