The stunning image of a distorted sunrise on the Norfolk coast has secured the Lowestoft Journal’s Picture of the Week.

The image was captured by Jenifer Everett-Day on her Panasonic Lumix at North Denes Beach, in Great Yarmouth two months ago.

Miss Everett-Day said: "It was one I had forgotten about. I was going through old photos and found it.

You may also want to watch:

"I had woken up at 3.30am and went down to North Denes Beach with my German Shepherd.

"I was down there for 4.30am and it was a beautiful, clear morning," she said.

A head of winter, she hopes the region will be covered in snow to capture some stunning shots.

As our winner, Miss Everett-Day receives a 10in x 8in framed version of her photo from Picture Studios on London Road North.
