People across Waveney are being urged to throw a Blooming Great Tea Party this June to support people who are terminally ill.

Marie Curie are calling on people across the district to get involved – by picking a date this month, and then inviting your friends, colleagues and family round for a tea party.

Big or small the choice is yours and anyone can hold a party – bake or buy some goodies and then all you need to do is ask for donations on the day. The money you raise will help Marie Curie provide vital care and support for people living with a terminal illness and their loved ones.

Angela Bussey, community fundraiser for Suffolk, said: 'Throwing a Blooming Great Tea Party for Marie Curie in June is an easy way to get together with friends, family and colleagues and raise money for a great cause.'
