NAP HAND: After swooping in to land at a popular nature reserve, this stunning photo was captured by a keen amateur photographer.

And it has proved to be picture perfect for Frank Gray, of Lowestoft, after being selected as our Picture of the Week winner.

It means that Mr Gray has now secured a nap hand of success in our popular contest, with this being the fifth time he has won. Admitting he was 'greatly honoured' to have won, he said: 'This photo was taken two weeks ago, early in the morning.

'I took this shot on the spur of the moment at Carlton Marshes. It didn't see me as it flew in to land, but as soon as it did it was off again in a flash.'

As our winner, Mr Gray receives a 12in x 10in framed version of his photo, worth more than £60, from Picture Studios, of London Road North, Lowestoft.

By progressing to our next six-monthly winners' final, he is also in with a shout of winning the top prize – a 12in x 18in photo block, worth £130.
