'SEVEN steps a Tory government would take to tackle recession', Peter Aldous, Tory Parliamentary candidate for Waveney (Journal, January 23).
Has Mr Aldous ever heard of the saying 'talk is cheap?'
Obviously the present world economic meltdown opens up all kinds of avenues for cheap political rhetoric especially when in opposition, knowing full well that you will never have to sanction such promises.
Not wanting to defend Mr Brown and Co I will point out that be it Labour or Conservative administration 'boom and bust' or recession, is nothing new under the system of capitalism.
Exploitation of the masses can only last so long and then as it is doing now it has to grind to a halt.
Capitalism is run by the rich for the rich and until such change comes about then at times such as now the working class will lose their jobs and houses, it has all been seen before.
