More than 100 daredevil teddies took the plunge at a popular summer fete.
Taking a leap of faith from the Pakefield church tower yesterday (Saturday) there was a fine turn-out as peopled flocked to see the bears parachute to the ground.
And with entertainment aplenty, the fete at All Saints and St Margaret's church was hailed a success. With various competitions, stalls, events and a grand raffle there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Canon Bob Baker even joined in the fun as he cooled down in the glorious sunshine – by being the target in the 'wet sponge throwing' sideshow.
