Children are being encouraged to bring their teddy bears, of all shapes and sizes, to the parish church of Lowestoft next month.
The popular teddy bears zip wire day will return to Lowestoft's St. Margaret's Church on Saturday, July 7 as part of the annual fete which will be held in the church grounds.
This event will mark the start of activities in July to mark St Margaret's patronal festival, which will culminate in a programme of special services to celebrate the patron saint on Sunday, July 15.
The fete starts at 11am on July 7, as teddy bears descend from the roof of the church porch into the churchyard below via a zip wire. The zip wire ride will run until 3pm, with a range of food and refreshments available in the church centre.
There will also be stalls selling cakes, plants, toys, books and bric-a-brac, with games and a tombola as all proceeds boost church funds.
