A TEENAGE girl is being sought by police after she assaulted a man in Lowestoft.
Police need to trace the girl, who is described as white, in her mid to late teens, with long brown hair, wearing a pink hooded top, dark tracksuit bottoms and carrying a white handbag, after a 21-year-old man was assaulted outside McDonalds in Station Square last Thursday evening, December 2.
The assault happened about 9.05pm to 9.15pm as the man walked towards the bridge.
'The girl approached him and struck him for no apparent reason before running off,' a police spokesman said. 'He sustained soreness to his face.'
