A 16-year-old boy sustained pain to his shin after the incident in London Road at about 5.45pm on Sunday. The boy and a friend were on motorcycles but had to stop behind two vehicles that had stopped in the road.

The boys passed the cars but an altercation then ensued with a man who was in one of the vehicles and the man grabbed the 16-year-old.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who saw the incident, particularly the driver of a silver Volvo who had to swerve to avoid the altercation.
