Teenager assaulted in Lowestoft park

POLICE are seeking witnesses after a 14-year-old boy was attacked in a public park.

The incident happened in a park near the Warren School and Clarkes Lane in Carlton Colville at 8.

POLICE are seeking witnesses after a 14-year-old boy was attacked in a public park.

The incident happened in a park near the Warren School and Clarkes Lane in Carlton Colville at 8.30pm on Monday, September 22. The boy was with friends when they were approached by two youths who asked them if they had seen anyone walk past. The group said no and the youths left.

One of the youngsters then returned and assaulted the boy, leaving him with a swollen lip and bruising. The youth is white, around 5ft 6in, of medium build and estimated at being between 17 and 18 years old. He was wearing a white hooded top and jeans.
