Teenager attacked by youths in Lowestoft

A 14-YEAR-OLD boy suffered a broken nose after he was attacked by two youths in Lowestoft.

The teenager was walking along Sandringham Road around 2.30pm to 2.

A 14-YEAR-OLD boy suffered a broken nose after he was attacked by two youths in Lowestoft.

The teenager was walking along Sandringham Road around 2.30pm to 2.45pm on Tuesday when he was attacked by two white youths described as in their early to mid teens. One wore grey tracksuit bottoms, a blue top and a red baseball cap, the other wore a black top.

The boy returned home after the assault and was taken to hospital by his mother, where they confirmed his nose was broken.

The 14-year-old said there were several people in the street at the time and police are asking them, and anyone with information about who the attackers are, to telephone Lowestoft police on 01986 835300.
