Teenager charged with knife offences after threatening man and boy

A teenager has been charged after trouble flared in an altercation that saw two people threatened with a knife.
Police were called about 6.20pm on Sunday, April 22, to reports of an altercation on Green Fleet Drive in Oulton involving an offender in possession of a knife who was making threats towards a teenage boy and a man.
Officers attended and arrested the offending teenage boy; nobody was injured as a result of the incident.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was later charged with possession of a knife in a public place and using threatening/abusive behaviour.
He was also charged with possession of a knife in a public place and using threatening/abusive behaviour in connection with a second incident that took place at Bloomsbury Close in Oulton. The incident on Friday, April 6, saw a man threatened with a knife.
The teenager has been remanded in youth detention to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on May 15.
