AN 18-year-old man had his mobile phone stolen from him in Lowestoft town centre. The teenager was walking along London Road North with a 19-year-old friend at about 8.30pm on Monday, January 17 when they were approached by two men. They asked the victim if he had a mobile phone and one of them then went into his pocket and stole the white phone. The men then ran off down Bevan Street East. One of the robbers was white but with a dark complexion, about 6ft 2ins tall, of slim build with short brown hair and wearing a dark brown hooded top with lighter brown stripes and blue jeans. The other was about 5ft 9ins tall, of skinny build and with short blond spiky hair, wearing a blue jumper, dark tracksuit bottoms and a gold chain in a dog tag style.

Anyone who saw the theft or who has any information about the two involved is asked to call PC 929 Durrant at Lowestoft on 01986 835300.
