A 19-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after another teenager was stabbed in Lowestoft.
Police arrested the 19-year-old from the town last night (Monday) after a 17-year-old man from Carlton Colville 'received stab wounds,' according to detectives.
The teenager was subsequently taken to the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston where he was treated and later discharged.
'Police have arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident at about 7.30pm last night (Monday, March 22) in Colville Road,' a police spokesman said.
'The 19-year-old man, from Lowestoft, was arrested at 10.35pm last night. He is currently in custody at Lowestoft police station awaiting questioning.'
