Fundraisers from the Lowestoft-based Lauren Lou appeal, which continues to raise money and awareness in aid of cancer charities and worthy local causes, have been boosted by a recent collection.
On Saturday and Sunday, January 20/21, a two-day bucket collection was held in aid of Cancer Research UK as part of the Tesco world cancer days.
The collections held at the Tesco Gunton store, also saw merchandise being sold with the newly designed Unity band available, as 'a whopping' £1,260.24 was raised over the two days.
Gary Bennett said: 'A massive thank you for my kind volunteers that covered a full two day tota and thank you to the Tesco Gunton management, staff and very kind donating customers who gave so generously.
'Together we can beat cancer and I, as the team leader, can't thank everyone enough for these fantastic efforts.'
