PROUD parents descended on The Journal's offices to pick up their prizes after their beloved children were named the winners of our Autumn Bonny Baby Competition.

Voting forms flooded in over October and November as the fiercely-contested competitions saw just a handful of votes split the top threes, in the three categories.

A total of 97 tots under 18 months lined up for their pictures at Westgate department store, in London Road North, Lowestoft, by child portrait specialists Premier Promotions, with 15 boys and 13 girls, aged between 18 months and five years, also going head-to-head.

The winner of the up to 18 months category was Elliott McMaster-Bond, and young Elliot was brought in by his parents Sam and Shauneen to pick up his prizes.

Aubrey Pettit, the winner of the boys' category, was accompanied by his sister Tallulla, who also finished third in the under 18 months category, and his mum Deborah to collect his prizes.

The winner of the girls' category was Mia Mirgaux.

Each winner received a 20x16in framed canvas texture portrait, with second in each section winning a 10x8in framed canvas texture portrait, and third place receiving an 8x6in framed portrait.

The winners also received vouchers for a birth tablet from Lowestoft Porcelain, in Battery Green Road, and the chance to have their child's hand or foot prints painted on to a celebration plate by Paint and Create.
