Free climbing sessions are being offered at a brand new state-of-the-art climbing wall, opening in Lowestoft this weekend.
The East Face climbing wall, at Waterlane Leisure Centre (WLC), opens for the first time today, March 30, and to celebrate climbers can take advantage of free sessions from Good Friday to Easter Monday.
The new wall, which includes 19 climbing lines, was completed following a £90,000 investment from Waveney District Council.
Graham Catchpole, Waveney's cabinet M=member for operational partnerships, said: 'The new wall will attract climbers from across the county, establishing Lowestoft and east Suffolk as an indoor climbing destination.'
WLC is also running a competition to win a climbing birthday party. Visit Facebook.com/waterlanelc for more details.
