TWO chief executives have departed Waveney in just over two years.

Each was appointed with a glowing statement that they were the right person for the job.

This, after thousands had been spent on consultant fees.

Should Waveney consider asking for a refund?

How much is it now costing the local taxpayer for temporary cover for three and a half days per week?

Does this also mean that Waveney no longer requires a full time employee for this position?

As Mr Gower said in his letter revert to the days when firm knowledgeable managers ran departments. Remember Lawrence Monkhouse? He was not the most popular of people but his planning department was one of the most efficient in the country; look at it now.

Mr Blizzard was entirely justified in criticising the way the council is being run. However, he must be careful of people in glasshouses who throw stones as his Labour party are doing their best to ruin our country.
