A CALLOUS thief stole an envelope containing cash from the hand of a man in a wheelchair in Lowestoft.
The envelope was snatched from the wheelchair-bound man as he entered a shop in London Road North last Thursday, November 18.
'The incident happened as the man, in his 40s, entered the Vodafone store about 1.20pm to 1.30pm,' a police spokesman said.
'A man – described as white, around 6ft tall, in his 20s to 40s, wearing a dark cap, dark jacket, dark jeans and glasses with dark frames – who was passing by offered to hold the door of the shop open to assist his entry but then snatched the envelope from his hand.'
