A THIEF snatched a woman's pink rucksack style bag as she walked along a road in Kirkley.Police are seeking witnesses after the woman was targeted in St Johns Road about 10am yesterday (Tuesday, September 1).

Police are seeking witnesses after the woman was targeted in St Johns Road about 10am yesterday (Tuesday, September 1).
The woman was walking from Belvedere Road towards Mill Road when a distinctive white man, in his 20s, about 5ft 4ins tall, of chubby build, with a scruffy-looking dark beard, dark hair which was almost down to his shoulders, wearing earrings, a multi-coloured shell-suit style hooded jacket and matching trousers, grabbed hold of her bag and fled.
'Police would like to hear from you if you were in the area around this time, regardless of whether you think you saw anything or not,' a police spokesman said. 'Officers would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen a man matching this description in the area.'
