Third person arrested after man killed

Detectives investigating the murder of a 55-year-old Lowestoft man have arrested a third person.

The victim, who has not been named, died yesterday at the James Paget University Hospital,Gorleston, following an assault in an alleyway off London Road South, Lowestoft at about 10.

The victim, who has not been named, died yesterday at the James Paget University Hospital,Gorleston, following an assault in an alleyway off London Road South, Lowestoft at about 10.25 on Wednesday, December 3.

A 23-year-old from Lowestoft was arrested on suspicion of murder this afternoon and has been taken into custody at Halesworth police station.

Two others - a 22-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy - remain in custody.
