Thoughtful teenagers praised

I WISH to express my disgust in the heartless driver who knocked down my 14-year-old cat and left her to die, also to all the other drivers and passer bys that left her in the road.

I WISH to express my disgust in the heartless driver who knocked down my 14-year-old cat and left her to die, also to all the other drivers and passer bys that left her in the road.

It took two young boys, not much older than 14, to move her from the road and lay her on the side.

Amazingly these thoughtful lads managed to do what no other adult could and read her collar. They then took it upon themselves to knock on our door and tell us the heartbreaking news.

I want them to know I am so proud and grateful to them and I hope their parents congratulate themselves on bringing up two smashing lads.

I am fed up with hearing about our horrible bad youth of today and how awful they are. Many adults drove by my Gizmo without a thought. It took these so called terrible youths to tell a family their much love pet had been killed.

My children are heartbroken as am I.
