METAL pressure gauges, fittings, coils, copper pipes and antique coins were all stolen after someone broke into business premises in Lowestoft.

Thousands of pounds worth of metal items, including ball valves, coils of copper tubing and stainless steel pipework were taken along with work tools including hammers, spanners and files as burglars struck at Newcombe Road between 4.45pm on Friday, June 24 and 7.50am on Saturday, June 25.

A collection of antique Celtic gold and silver coins in a tin were also stolen.

The offenders broke into the back of the industrial unit and then opened the front of the premises before loading a vehicle with the items.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area between these times, or anyone with information about those responsible or where the items are now, to call PC 1475 Plummer at Lowestoft on 01986 835300.
