THREE teenage girls have been arrested after trouble flared in an altercation in Lowestoft.
A 17-year-old girl suffered cuts and grazes to her face during the altercation in Victoria Road, near the junction with Burnham Way, about 7.30pm last night (Thursday, April 7).
'Police received a number of calls from members of the public reporting that a group appeared to be attacking the teenage girl,' a police spokesman said. 'Officers attended and found the 17-year-old with the injuries.'
They then went to an address nearby and arrested the three girls – one aged 17, one 14 and the other 13. All three are currently in custody at Lowestoft police station where they will be interviewed by officers.
