FIRE crews were called to a three-car collision in Barnby, near Lowestoft this morning (Friday).
The initial fire service call-out was to an incident involving 'persons trapped,' but these fears were allayed as nobody was injured during the incident, which happened in Beccles Road at 9.55am,
A fire engine and emergency tender from Lowestoft South and a pump rescue from Great Yarmouth were called to the collision.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said this was a 'road traffic collision involving three vehicles in a minor collision, all vehicles on all four wheels, no persons trapped.'
The crews were stood down from the scene at 10.06am after they found that nobody was trapped.
