Fundraisers from the Lowestoft-based Lauren Lou appeal, which continues to raise money and awareness in aid of cancer charities and local causes, have been boosted by recent collections.

Last Friday, November 17 a table top sale and bucket collection was held in the Tesco Gunton store, with £600.36 raised. On Saturday a collection and table top sale at Morrisons store in Pakefield raised £607.72, before another collection at the Tesco Gunton store on Monday raised £530.86.

Gary Bennett, from Team Lauren Lou, said: “Thank you to both major local stores for letting us collect and thank you to their very kind generous customers who donated over the three collections. A massive thank you to my volunteers who covered three collections in four days to raise a staggering £1,738.94 for our local cancer appeals fund to help local people.”
