Three-vehicle collision causes delays on A146 Barnby Bends

Emergency services were called to a three-vehicle collision on the A146 Barnby Bends road this morning.

The collision, which involved a blue Ford Fiesta, red Skoda Octavia and a black Renault Megane, happened shortly before 9am between Barnby and Carlton Colville near the hand car wash.

One side of the road was completely blocked, causing a backlog of traffic.

Police were called to the scene along with an ambulance crew.

Paramedics treated one woman for a head injury which was not thought to be serious. There were no other reported injuries.

The road was cleared just before 10am.
