Hundreds of people enjoyed traditional donkey rides, Punch and Judy shows and even a coconut shy at the Southwold and Sole Bay Lions fete on the Common today.
Local charities including the Cats Protection League and East Coast Hospice were among the 50 stalls which ranged from bric a brac to hand-made crafts.
The fete was opened by Southwold’s new mayor Melanie Tucker, who praised the Lions for their commitment to supporting good causes in the area.
Lions president John Beckett said: “It’s just a lovely, family occasion.
“It has become a tradition in the town and we’ve tried to provide something to interest everyone and it gives the charities a good opportunity to not only raise money but to have a bit extra visibility.”
