Traffic tailbacks likely on A12

TRAFFIC delays are likely on the A12 after two separate incidents in north Suffolk on Tuesday afternoon.

Police are currently dealing with an HGV trailer that has shed its load and has partially blocked both lanes.

TRAFFIC delays are likely on the A12 after two separate incidents in north Suffolk on Tuesday afternoon.

Police are currently dealing with an HGV trailer that has shed its load and has partially blocked both lanes. Officers were called to the junction near the landfill site at Henham at 2.30pm today.

Soon after this incident, and barely a few hundred metres away, a white Mercedes van and grey Rover were involved in a collision near to the Blythburgh bypass.

Officers are dealing with both incidents and diversions may soon be put in place.
