The East Anglia Transport Museum in Carlton Colville will hold a special event this weekend to commemorate 30 years since the Eastern Coach Works factory in Lowestoft was closed.

ECW-bodied vehicles are set to travel to the museum from far and wide to celebrate the work of a company that once employed 1,200 people, before eventually shutting in 1987.

A spokesman for the EATM said: 'The trade stands along with the static exhibitions and visiting vehicles will make for a busy weekend for vehicle enthusiasts and families alike.

'There will be a free park and ride service and bus services to Beccles and Lowestoft, as well as a BBQ in the park.'

Admission to the museum is £9 for adults, £7 for OAPs and £6 for children aged between five and 15.

Anyone looking to have a stall or bring a classic vehicle along to the event should fill out a form by visiting eatransportmuseum.co.uk.
