Two men have been charged following the discovery of a cannabis factory in south Lowestoft.

Indrit Beshiri and Ndriqim Teta, both 26 and of no fixed abode, were charged with the production of cannabis and for abstracting electricity.

Officers from the East Scorpion team attended an address in Kirkley Run and discovered 162 cannabis plants growing across the area of three separate rooms in a property on Wednesday, May 9. Electricity was also being abstracted.

Police said that the two men were arrested on Wednesday, and they were subsequently taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning, before being charged yesterday (Thursday).

Beshiri and Teta were remanded in custody and both were due to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court today (Friday).
