TWO people have been arrested after a man suffered a cut face as trouble flared in Oulton Broad.

Police are seeking witnesses after an altercation in Bridge Road around midnight on Friday night (February 25) into Saturday morning (February 26).

Officers have arrested a 36-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman on suspicion of wounding following the incident in which the 31-year-old suffered a cut to his face.

They have both now been bailed to return to Lowestoft police station on March 28 pending further enquiries into exactly what happened.

“Police need to speak to anyone who saw the incident and are particularly keen to trace two members of the public who appear to have helped a member of Lady of the Lake door staff in trying to break-up the altercation,” a police spokesman said.

• Anyone with information should telephone DC 144 Chan at Lowestoft CID on 01986 835300.
