Two people injured after head on collision in Somerleyton

Two people have suffered minor injuries after a head on collision in Somerleyton this morning (Thursday).

Emergency services were called just after 6am to the B1074 Blundeston Road after a Renault Megane and Renault Clio were involved in a crash.

An ambulance crew and ambulance officer were sent to the scene to treat two patients who had whiplash injuries.

Both were discharged at the scene and did not need to be taken to hospital.

A police spokesman said the road was blocked but had reopened by 8.45am.
